Laundry Aide
Ensure Comfort and Cleanliness for Our Residents at Pomeroy Living!
Pomeroy Living is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in providing a clean, comfortable, and homelike environment for our residents by ensuring their personal laundry and facility linens are handled with care.
Responsibilities:
* Laundry Operations:
* Wash resident clothing and facility linens according to established company policies and procedures.
* Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items efficiently and accurately.
* Operate and maintain laundry equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any malfunctions.
* Quality & Care:
* Handle resident clothing and linens with care, maintaining their quality and appearance.
* Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
* Efficiency & Organization:
* Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
* Adhere to department procedures and cleaning schedules.
* Ensure linens are cleaned to department procedures and cleaning schedule.

Qualifications:
* Demonstrate honesty and integrity in the care and use of resident and facility property.
* Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with staff and residents.
* Ability to lift and carry light objects up to 50 lbs.
* Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
